Overview
Device list includes all the wired devices, i.e.: Patient Station, Intercom etc. Physical Devices generally have two modes Alarm and Normal, and each mode generates a URL request to the EMS system that stores the event. Each event can also trigger the following items:
oone or more attached Device Actions
oone or more defined Notifications
Each event can also be shown on a Facility Monitor, we can use three different media objects to display on the Screen Device Template:
oImage, it can be a EMS system pre-defined image or a user local computer image
oVideo, it can be a user local computer video
oStream, , it can be a JPEG URL from a camera or a MPEG URL from a camera, or any other supported camera URL
Attached images must obey by settings defined under Admin Config -> Settings, there we have allowed image and video types, and a maximum allowed upload size.

5.Device Type selection, to specify which Controls the device uses
6.Device identification, that is used in URL events
7.Friendly name; not required, if not entered, will be generated from the Device identification field
8.NFC tag that may be attached to a device physically and when scanning the tag with a mobile device that has EMS Mobile installed, we would be able to retrieve the device information; not required
9.IP Address of a device in the internal network, this is currently not utilized, but should be used to send API requests to the device, i.e.: cancellation of an Alarm event via NFC Tag scan; not required

11.PBX Extension to attach CDR calls to a device and utilize auto attendant requests, i.e.: change auto attendant audio message etc
12.Media type to use, Image, Video or Stream
13.Used for devices without a dedicated physical Cancel button (control), if this option is checked any control can be used to cancel all the alarm events for the device; any control request with a status set to normal will cancel all the device alarms
14.Media type specific field: select and browse for image, browse for video and field input for stream
